BrotherSister.

During my foundation course I did a project on neon lights and city scapes and looked into doing a lot of layering with my imagery. My tutor found me a pretty useful reference artist for this, which I tend to go back to some of the time. It's a graphic company, called brothersister.

Ideal for anyone doing the Graphic Community key phrase from the wallcoverings project. The geometrics used in these graphic prints include stars, line, circles, space shapes, butterflies, city scapes etc.. Also using monochrome to brighter bold colours.

Computers - What do you think about computers being used in the industry rather than being handmade?

Handmade-
With handmade designs i think theres more of a personal touch to them, between the designer and the design.
The designs are one offs and unique.
Although it does take longer. But with that extra time spent on making it yourself, it can build value to the product/design.

Computers-
Designs can be mass produced in less time.
There's less of a waste in fabrics and sources being used.
The downsde being that on computers you don't really have to have gone to university to sit at a computer and create a design, you can just be imaginative. Pretty much anyone can have a bash at it. The value might drop as the design is mass produced and people everywhere would have the chance to get there hands on the design, rather than it being a one off thats going to be worth more in the long run.
